10. Lawn Care Services
    Guaranteed Grub Control
    Turf Logic will provide any application necessary, preventive and curative, to keep all white grub species from damaging your turf. Spring, early summer and fall applications may be necessary. If there is ever a grub problem, we own it. We will reseed any damage to your lawn caused by grubs at no charge.
    
    Soil Analysis
    The correct balance of nutrients, pH, and soil texture is vital to a healthy, disease free lawn. We are partnered with soil testing labs that will provide a detailed report on the most important soil characteristics. Based on these reports we can tailor a program that is specific to your lawns individual needs.
    
    Fall Lime Application
    Lime is provided in the fall, often at the same visit as the fall application. Lime is applied to maintain the present soil pH. Corrective applications may be recommended as a result of soil testing.
    
    Core Aeration
    Core aeration is a process that mechanically removes small plugs of soil and thatch from your lawn and deposits them on the surface. The aeration process introduces air and water to the turf and increase decomposition of the thatch layer without actually removing any organic material. The cores brought to the surface will break down releasing nutrients and organic matter back into the soil and the holes left in the turf will help to air, water, and light infiltrate the root zone.
    
    Over-Seeding
    This service is performed with the core aeration. Overseeding introduces new seed varieties into the lawn. Overseeding will help thicken your existing lawn as well as filling in any bare areas.
    
    Topdressing
    Topdressing involves incorporating a layer of compost over an aerated lawn. This process vastly improves the soil quality and insures long term lawn benefits. Rich soil encourages a healthy root system which in turn is better able to defend against insect and disease attack. This service can be performed on an entire lawn or needed sections.

    Integrated Pest Management
    Turf-logic’s Plant Health Care Program utilizes the principals of Integrated Pest Management to provide the best possible care for your landscape. Our Plant Health Care Technician will visit your property 4-12 times over the course of the growing season depending on the needs of your landscape. If the need arises problems detected by our technicians will be treated in-situ. After each visit you will receive a detailed report containing information about pests spotted, measures taken, and comments on the general health of your landscape.
    
    Asian Longhorn Beetle Program
    The discovery of the Asian longhorn beetle represents the most serious threat to the New England landscape in living memory. The Asian longhorn beetle attacks healthy maples, birch, elm, willow, poplar, and horse chestnut. The only treatment for infested trees is to have the tree cut down, but we can help protect your trees form attack. We can inspect your trees and give them a protective treatment that is taken up into the tissue of your trees offering year long protection from this potentially devastating insect.

    We offer a wide range of pruning services from foundation shrubs to large trees.
    
    Spring / Fall Deep Root Fertilization
    The vast majority of absorptive roots of a plant are located in the top 18 inches of soil. At Turf-logic we deliver a balanced liquid fertilizer rich in macro and micro nutrients directly into the root zone under hydraulic pressure via specially designed soil probe. The liquid fertilizer is superior to more conventional granular fertilizers because it is immediately available for uptake by the plant and avoids the possibility of fertilizer burn.
    
    Flea and Tick Barrier
    A barrier treatment applied to the edge your property that helps prevent the infiltration of fleas and ticks from wooded areas into your yard.
    
    Wilt-Proof Spray
    Broadleaf evergreens (Rhododendron, Boxwood, Holly, Azalea, etc.) keep their leaves all year. Because they do not shed their leaves in winter they are prone to damage from extreme cold and strong winds. Our Anti-desiccant program utilizes a non-toxic foliar spray that that coats and protects the leaves.
    
    Plant Bed Maintenance Program
    Hand weeding is time consuming and expensive. Our Plant Bed Maintenance Program consists of three applications that offer season long weed control. The program includes an early spring pre-emergent application followed by two post-emergent applications.
    
    Deer Repellent
    Our deer repellent program is a foliar spray applied to susceptible plants. The treatment is not harmful to deer, it simple gives the foliage a bad taste that dissuades browsing.
